1970 February Nippon Electronic Memory Industry Co., Ltd. established at Minato-ku, Tokyo, with capital of 15 million yen.
Nagaoka Plant opened in Niigata Prefecture; manufacture and sales of memory equipment for computers commenced.
October Development division established in Minato-ku, Tokyo, and development of standardized switching power supplies begun.
1972 May Manufacture and sales of TM series standardized switching power supply products commenced.
1973 July New Nagaoka Plant constructed and operations of the original Nagaoka Plant transferred.
1975 October Long-term export contract for switching power supplies concluded with Veeco Instruments, Inc. (present Lambda Holdings, Inc.), and export of LJS series commenced.
1978 June Nemic-Lambda Co., Ltd. established with capital participation by Veeco Instruments. Business of Nippon Electronic Memory Industry Co., Ltd. transferred to Nemic-Lambda.
1979 July Headquarters transferred to Higashi-Gotanda, Tokyo.
1980 January Overseas production center established with the founding of NEMIC-LAMBDA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. as a subsidiary of Veeco Instruments.
1982 January 100% ownership of NEMIC-LAMBDA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. acquired from Veeco Instruments.
1987 April Ibaraki Plant constructed in Takahagi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and manufacture and sales of rack-mount power supplies initiated (closed March 1998).
1988 August Kanoya Plant constructed in Kagoshima Prefecture and manufacture of on-board power supplies initiated (closed April 2002).
November NEMIC-LAMBDA (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. established in Malaysia to increase manufacturing capacity.
1989 August Korea Branch established in Seoul to promote sales in Korea.
1991 February Company's shares registered for over-the-counter trading.
June 100% ownership of Israel-based ISLAMBDA ELECTRONICS LTD. acquired from Lambda Electronics Inc.
NEMIC-LAMBDA (KUANTAN) SDN. BHD. established in Malaysia to increase manufacturing capacity.
July NEMIC-LAMBDA LTD. established in Israel to expand market in Europe.
1993 November Shanghai Nemic-Lambda Electronics Co., Ltd. established in Shanghai, China, to increase manufacturing capacity (liquidated in December 1997).
1994 January Hong Kong Branch established to promote sales in China.
1995 March Shares listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
May WUXI NEMIC-LAMBDA ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. established in Wuxi, China to increase manufacturing capacity.
June Shares listed on the Niigata Stock Exchange.
1996 January BEIJING NEMIC-WEIHUA POWER SUPPLY TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. established through a merger with China Electronic Weihua Business Development Company.
November Shares listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
1997 February Izumi Plant constructed in Kagoshima Prefecture (closed December 1998).
September Operations begun by NEMIC-LAMBDA (AUSTRALIA) PTY. LTD. (established in Melbourne, Australia, in June 1996) to develop markets in Oceania (closed July 2000).
1999 October Merger completed with Nippon Electric Industry Co., Ltd. and Company name changed to DENSEI-LAMBDA K.K.
  Shares listed on the First Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange.
2001 December Shares in NDEC CO., LTD. transferred to NEC Fielding Ltd.
2005 October Parent company changed from Invensys plc to TDK Corp.
2006 January Lambda Americas and Europe Groups were acquired as subsidiaries.
2008 February The Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Osaka Stock Exchange delisted the stock of Densei-Lambda, as Densei-Lambda has become a wholly owned subsidiary of TDK group.
2008 March Densei-Lambda became a wholly owned subsidiary of TDK group.
2008 October Merger completed with Power Systems Business Group of TDK Corporation and changed the company name for TDK-Lambda Corporation
2009 April Nagaoka Technical Center completed
2010 January UPS Business transferred to Fuji Electric Systems
2010 March Headquarters transferred to Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
2013 April Headquarters transferred to the current location in Tamachi, Tokyo.
